Great location for a weekend or a longer stay. It has the beach, ferry crossing which we did, and the history. Enjoyed the museum with very lovely staff and always enjoy the book shop and hunt for vintage items in the shopping area. I like old hotels so am a bit biased in that sense. The Vue Grand was a nice hotel from a past age. The balcony was fairly private so you could sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere plus look over at the street to see what was going on.Guest review byBernieAustralia - 10.0

Queenscliff has an abundance of accommodation places for you to stay for all family types and all price ranges; it has some wonderful eateries for varying types of cuisine, the best bakery in the area (with winning pies), a great little lolly shop and, if you prefer, a butcher shop to cater for all your BBQ needs. It also features a fantastic bookshop, souvenir stores, art/craft stores, op shops and more. There is a lovely little tourist railway, a pier to walk out on and lots of beautiful scenery too. Point Lonsdale lighthouse is a few minutes drive away, Ocean Grove a 15 minutes drive for your beach fix and a ferry to take you across the bay.Guest review byStephen NorgateAustralia - 10.0

Queenscliff is such a beautiful town to visit, we travelled the Blues Train would highly recommend, wonderful evening, the view travelling the train on sunset was spectacular, the town, the local pub was just superb, we caught the ferry across from Sorrento, a lovely adventurous journey, take the bikes, cycle around town, enjoy some shopping, relaxing at the local with live music Sundays, I highly recommend a stay at Queenscliff.Guest review byFionaAustralia - 10.0
