Caz is a great host. She met us out front and directed us to our private entrance to the home. We rented 1 bedroom, but were allocated one bedroom to sleep in, one bedroom to store our luggage in, a toilet and bathroom, a kitchenette, and an office/day room. The hosts live at the home, but in a different part of the house that is separated by a locking door. Our host provided fresh eggs for breakfast, an egg poacher, bread, and all sorts of cereal and breakfast items. The bathroom has a soaker tub and massage shower.

Beautifully renovated- stylish and new, but in keeping with the hotel’s history. Staff were exceptional and very helpful. Food was wonderful and again, staff were excellent. An amazing experience.

    Location and communal areas were perfect for a weekend away...

    Location and communal areas were perfect for a weekend away with friends. Lovely views of the water from upstairs and downstairs helped us all to relax. Brunch at The Salty Cow cafe and a visit to the Port Arlington Makers Market make for a great weekend. Be prepared for the 4th bedroom to be an addition to the garage. Still cosy though. Would definitely stay again.

    It was a great base and in close proximity to other towns/attractions we visited including Ocean Grove, Torquay, Point Lonsdale, Queenscliff, Port Arlington and Sorrento (by ferry!) Best winery/view was Jack Rabbit. Best meal was Port Arlington Kitchen Bar.

    Great Stay, Perfect for Large Groups !

    Great Stay, Perfect for Large Groups ! We had a wonderful time staying at this holiday house. The house was very clean and had a good number of rooms with plenty of beds, which was perfect for our large group. The big dining table was great for us all to eat together. The best part of the house was definitely the games room! Both kids and adults really enjoyed the pool table and table tennis – it kept everyone entertained for hours. The area was lovely, and the neighbours were friendly too. There were just a couple of small things: the hot water ran out before everyone in our group could shower, and there weren’t quite enough coffee cups for everyone. The living room was a bit smaller than we expected, but these were minor issues. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend this place for a fun, relaxing getaway!

    Great foreshore coastal walking trail which goes on and on.

    Great foreshore coastal walking trail which goes on and on. The trail is exceptionally well maintained and meanders through bush, the water’s edge is just a couple of steps away throughout. Very clean, no litter didn’t even see a cigarette butt.

    Quiet bayside, village like.

    Quiet bayside, village like. Selection of cafes and supermarket for supplies. Water front lovely with parks and playground, also with a pier to walk out on. Close to other beaches, and easy drive into Geelong. At night a great view back across to Melbourne skyline.

    We travelled to The Bellarine Peninsula for a family wedding. Saint Leonards was perfectly located a mere 10 minute drive from the wedding venue and only 20 minutes to an event held the next day in Point Lonsdale. Saint Leonards was within easy reach of anywhere you might want to go on the peninsula
