Lovely house. Very welcoming, neat and tidy. Nice views, lots of wildlife. Well set out house. A lot of character with the sailing memorabilia. As a yachtsman from the northern beaches of Sydney it was like coming home.

JohnZ was very attentive to all of our group, he is a real asset to this hotel. The breakfast was excellent each morning. We travelled to the hotel by our rental vehicle but it is a little out of the way but it's very quiet there.

The communication, welcome and standard of accommodation were all superb. The ferry to Bruny island is just down the road and Kettering itself looks charming. We only stayed for one night as a stopover for the ferry, had we know jus how stunning the property is we may have adjusted our stay to enjoy it for longer. The wifi worked very well which was handy after a few days of no access elsewhere.

Friendly host who prepared 19 Blue with love and care. It was cosy, welcoming and provided everything we needed. The home cooked bread and fresh eggs, along with other kitchen staples, was delicious and a lovely surprise.

The Host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast spread was truly impressive, offering a fantastic variety of delicious options. The room itself was immaculate and exceptionally comfortable, with a luxurious bed ensuring a restful night's sleep. The property was incredibly peaceful, and we were delighted to spot kangaroos grazing nearby during the day. The stunning views were an added bonus. This was undoubtedly one of the best stays I've experienced in Australia. I highly recommend this property.

It is beautifully set up high on the hill to enable a view of the bay. We just happened to be there when the yachts in for the end of the Sydney to Hobart race. Wonderful!!

There was clear attention to every detail, from the furniture to the artwork, the way the staff personalised your experience and the little chocolate and tea delivered at night.     The pub and township have some wonderful little shops to look at and with Margate and Kingston not far away you aren't far from town. Plenty of places to choose from, Between Kettering and Kingston, With Margate and Blackmans Bay inbetween is a place of many choices. It only has one major road in and out and is a very small township so yes it is very easy to get around. Nothing at all.
