There is a lot of space, and the terrace of the restaurant has a wide landscape perspective, the best sun-set terrace! Delicious food and good draft beer. Gardens and flowers around houses. Well designed, lightning very well designed outdoors and indoors. Close to some great nature tourism attractions and birding options.

Everything. We were very surprised at how good this motel was especially as it was so reasonable. Functional room set up with comfortable bed and sofa. Excellent shower, nice size bathroom with toiletries. Room had microwave, fridge, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Even milk was provided with tea and coffee. Able to park outside our room.

    Close to Hobart city and surrounding tourist attractions. Sorell is a good town to stay in with groceries, chemist, park, cafés, fast food take away and plenty of free parking. Easy to walk or drive around in and just a short 20 min drive to visit busy Hobart CBD area.

    Sorell is an excellent 'way-point' between the historic Richmond township, the Tasman Peninsula and the Tasmanian East Coast, not too far out of Hobart and quite close to the airport. Excellent fuel prices and several good dining options.

    Great place to stop over.

    Great place to stop over. As close as you can get to Port Arthur and still be in a reasonable Town with most services and still get things without the tourist price mark up. Also close to Richmond and Hobart Airport without the busyness or price of Hobart.

    Loved the cottage clean tidy was perfect for our stay .

    Loved the cottage clean tidy was perfect for our stay . Very easy to find , instructions for check in were very clear , Recommend breakfast at velvet cafe great food and service. We were only over night wanting to be close to the airport for travel early in the morning . Didn’t have time to explore Sorell but will definitely be back .

    Sorrell as a town isn't much of tourist area, but what is nice is it is only minutes from the Hobart Airport, and was centrally located between Bruny Island, the Tasman Penninsula and Maria Island
