Sydney has the most beautiful harbour in the world, the way the city lights up at night is breathtaking. Ferry rides are a must, and night-life always something to do and plenty of variety of different cultural foods to eat. Also, Darling harbour has so much to offer , whether it's a show at the icc , a ferry ride from kings wharf, our eat at 1 of the many restaurants, or have an ice cream or go on a harbour lunch or dinner cruise. I recommend the Sydney show boat, or visit the aquarium or 1 of the many other attractions

We were on our way home from a cancelled trip in Europe due to illness. The staff at the hotel made it easy for us to change our previous booking and accommodate us at an earlier date. We can recommend The Postmans boat trip on the Hawkesbury River for a one day excursion. Easy access by train from Central Station.

Take a tour of the Botanic Gardens in spring/early summer. Catch the ferry to Watsons Bay or Manly. Visit the the NSW Art Gallery. Look around the Police and Justice Museum at Circular Quay. These are all relatively inexpensive but rewarding experiences.

Sydney is such a beautiful old city with lots of character and many places to visit. Some within walking distance while many you need a car, especially travelling further out or to beaches. Sydney is also alive with entertainment, cafes, lots of places to choose from to eat. Unfortunately, we weren't their for too long to get the full feel of Sydney and its surrounds. A must visit is the Rusty Rabbit in Darlinghurst and also the Elements Smokehouse for ribs. There is a hop on and hop off bus around many areas. Shopping is a must.

Excellent location. 650meter to the sydney harbour bridge climb. Everywhere is less than a kilometre including the crown casino area, the Rocks, bangaroo park, ferry boats. Leisurely walks to everywhere within the cbd. E.g. intercontinental hotel 1.3km, shangri-la 700meter. Beautiful parks, you could easily cover walk to the botanical garden and back. Comparatively quiter than other accommodation of the same $$$. Communication is great. Good value for money. Image taken from bedrooom window attached.

Spacious, well furnished, comfortable and very clean rooms, great pool/gym, very nice hotel surroundings and steps away from the Sydney Botanic Gardens. Fantastic breakfast. It is a bit far (20-30 mins walk) from Circular Quay or the CBD but there are plenty of taxis and you can walk through the nearby parks to those destinations. The reception staff were very attentive and concerned about our stay, particularly Jade. If you like hotels a bit away from the noise, this is a perfect place.

Comfortable room, we stayed in on floor 9 with a balcony. Gave us a small view of Darling Harbour. Large bed and well appointed room. Location was fantastic, close to the CBD, Town Hall Stn and Darling Harbour all within walking distance. Have found hotels on George St to e noisy at night, This is a good alternative, quiet but still close.
