Liane was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated in period style and exceptionally clean. There was plenty of space and some well thought out touches such as two luggage racks and bottles of water. The bathrooms and toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. The bed was cosy and and we had a very comfortable nights sleep. The room also had a heater which was very welcome in Winter. The communal kitchen was spacious and had all the basics. Lovely balcony to sit on and watch the sunset. Had a fantastic stay. Thank you

The room was very large with seating area and table, plus desk. The en-suite bathroom was modern. Loved the addition of the small kitchen area too. The staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was good!

The unit was very clean and comfortable. The bar has a country feel and great atmosphere, the beer garden is very relaxing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was 10/10 fast service. We will be back

The owner is extremely friendly and gave us a tour of her farm, which has horses, sheep, and an alpaca. The room was very comfortable and had a cozy, homely feel.

The location was like a little hidden oasis. Completely peaceful and serene with gorgeous landscape, plant and animal life surrounding the property. You can even go give a beautiful pig back scratches with special rakes and watch the peacocks walk about in the aviary. The pool was the perfect temperature and the fresh produce, milk, farm eggs, bacon and fresh baked bread made a delicious breakfast!

So we actually stayed in Le Var not the Gate House. We loved the grounds, the history, the peace and serenity and our cute room with the very generous, modern ensuite.
