The accommodation was terrific and the setting was wonderful. Tranquil forest with an abundance of wildlife at the doorstep. Great walking trails are also available directly from the accommodation (no need to pack the car!). An easy picturesque drive from Cairns and a world away from the hustle and bustle.

Wonderful little spot. I loved sitting in the balcony and watching the birds. Beautiful surroundings and very cozy place. I loved it. Only regret is not having booked two nights. It felt very short.

Staff were really friendly, gave great recommendations on where to see everything! We had a cassowary under our deck, we found leaf tailed geckos, boyds forrest dragons, platypus swimming in the lakes, possums on our deck and HEAPS of bird and possums on our deck at night time! We even saw the tree kangaroos, Ulysses butterflies, pandemelons and a nothern bandicoot! and It was an unforgettable stay! We will be back!

Very unique and special place, with a lot of character, very nice owners and stuff, everything was exceptional! The room was very clean and tidy, beautiful design, and it seems they taking care of the details. It was very convenient also to have a guests kitchen with all the equipment. Highly recommended!
