Because I grew up in lake Macquarie, I have a fondness for the close proximity of lake, bush and beach. We had a nice stop of one night on our way to Sydney driven from Brisbane. It has a great location with near by Coles and Cafe with the beach view. The room is good size for the family of four and it is clean and tidy. We would come back in the future. Some beautiful restaurants nearby (2 min walk) where you can sit outside and look over the water. The staff were great. I booked last minute and after reception hours so no one had seen my booking.
