Victor Harbor is a nice clean precinct.....good bakery.....variety of shops......Woolworths/Drakes/Aldi.....Information Office (staff very helpful)......Good to have a paper map to find your way around.......various tours to take.......Victor Harbor is a good place to use as a base camp to tour out from. Horse drawn tram, Cockle Train trip to Goolwa, Coorong cruise from Goolwa, road trips to Cape Jervis south to McLaren Vale north......roads good (a bit windy in areas).....be prepared for very windy weather.

There's so much to do.

There's so much to do. Dress for all occasions and visit the lolly shop! I enjoyed going out and staying in. Bring extra cash for the carnival rides and games. Walk across to granite island and drive up to the bluff. Still have yet to do the cockle train. Great playground and restaurants and holiday parks. The beach and collecting shells is beautiful and fun.

No transport needs a car.

No transport needs a car. Winter main st shopping closes early. Lovely to browse through and a mall too. Granite Island is the SHOWPIECE. Horse drawn vintage carriage by Clydesdale's, tourists love it. Op shops fun for elderly folk and grandkids. A quiet in Winter destination. Lovely caravan parks . Books shops to browse new and olde , also found in nearby coastal towns. Bike riding to the Bluff outdoors adventures , surfing nearby. FUN TOWN /laidback too .

I liked the ambiance of the place.

I liked the ambiance of the place. We had all our meals in the hotel itself, the serves are huge and very tasty. We didn't do too much walking due to a medical condition. The people we did meet were very friendly and it is a dog friendly town. The scenery is lovely and i would recommend walking along the foreshore and over too granite island or you could go across on the horse-drawn tram.

The Granite Island and causeway is a definate worthwhile walk . Plenty of shopping opportunities with The Mall and fun OP Shops for found treasures. Car needed to explore further the local areas but one can walk happily around Victor itself .

Convenient spot, close walk to everything in Victor Harbor - supermarkets, fast food and sights can walk to all. Designated parking spot available in front of room. For larger vehicles you can enter via the back gate. Clean and good facilities for breakfast, fridge, microwave, toaster etc... there is also another room where there are cooking facilities available, we did not utilise this so cannot comment further. Staff at reception were friendly.

Beautifully appointed, spacious room. Foxtel tv - lots of channel options. We chose a studio room that stated there was no view but we were on the corner and did have an ocean view (albiet not a full view). Free laundry facilities. Had to but washing powder from reception but only $3.00. Close to Victor Harbor. Option for food delivery. Must recommend Primo restaurant - food delicious and huge plus they delivered.

Perfect location to enjoy everything there is to see at Victor Harbor. The staff in reception were welcoming and friendly. They were also very kind to my grandkids who frequently asked for different play equipment etc. One grandchild was excited to receive a certificate for his mini golf 'hole in one' from reception.
