It is worth doing the Wirrina Cove boat tour.
It is worth doing the Wirrina Cove boat tour. Wirrina Cove is a nice hidden place to relax and appreciate wildlife. There are different beach places nearby where to go such as Second Valley and Rapid Bay. Additionally, Victor Harbour is not far, and Normanville is an amazing town too. Excellent value for money!
Excellent value for money! The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We stayed one night in the room overlooking the golf course and it was amazing to see the kangaroos and birds up close. The room was renovated, spacious, very clean and comfortable. The internet was very good (contrary to some reviews) and I was very surprised that the TV had access to YouTube and Netflix. We watched two movies online without any problems. The food was good and well priced. The only downside is that the external structure, such as the pool area, is a bit old, but nothing that stopped us from having an excellent and very relaxing weekend.Guest review byFernandaAustralia - 10.0

We arrived after three days of driving around Kangaroo Island and were thrilled with our welcome. It was so peaceful and welcoming. Our room overlooked the golf course and had a lovely patio with a table & two comfortable chairs. We enjoyed a drink outside watching the kangaroos. Perfect! We enjoyed some delicious Asian food in the restaurant, again delightful staff. Sadly, we were only there for one night. Would highly recommend it to others.Guest review byRogerUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Everything was absolutely perfect. The location ,styling,cleanliness and complete guest experience was 10/10. Located on the fleurieu Peninsula coast there is so much to see and do. I just want to keep coming back,It just feels like I can not get enough of it. Filled with every conceivable experience one could desire. Anyone seeking a Wining,Dining,fishing,boating,diving,aquatic,nature trail, 4WD, craft beer or music experience, this region has it all and the perfect serene place for a base is the Wirrina Cove apartment. Facilities old and in need of upgrade but serviceable. Staff fantastic and food of very hi quality. We had dinner and breakfast on site and meals exceeded our expectation. If you want a relaxing time and not too worried about looks and age of rooms this is the place, as there is plenty of other things to do and see around the area.Guest review byRob PAustralia

About a dozen kangaroos visited us on the second day, they were right in front of our room on the golf grounds. Bonus thing which I find rare nowadays are the plush/spa slippers.
