We had an unforgettable experience at this place. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The homemade food we were welcomed with was delicious, along with traditional rakija and homemade juice. The new houses are beautifully designed, fully equipped, and very comfortable. The location is stunning – in the mountains with views of the surrounding countryside. It truly offers a peaceful escape into nature. The lake with its beach right nearby is breathtaking. An amazing highlight was the SUV tour recommended by the hosts, where we explored the breathtaking mountain landscapes. Highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a unique and serene retreat.

Basically everything was extrordinary. Place is really cosy and quiet. Hosts are extremely friendly and speak english (Russian or Serbian is also an option), breakfest was perfect (wild roses jam was delicious!), wifi works and three is a place to park a car (+ there is an easy asphalt road to the place, which is not obvious in Bosnia). There is almost none light polution, you can freely watch stars in the night. If we are going to be in Bosnia again, we'll definetly visit this place again Special thanks here for the old lady for yummy pancakes, which were a surprise (with the same delicious jam!). Once again, thank you very much!

Well placed with good restaurant and shops nearby. Very nice room, everything that two cyclists needed on a trip through this area. Truly the nicest family we have seen and talked to on this trip. We are english and their son spoke very good english which meant we could communicate well. They took us to a very nice restaurant nearby where we got a local delicacy, which was exactly what we wanted. I cannot stress enough how nice the people here are, and in the whole town of gacko. Nearby there is also a really good bakery, with amazing stuff for breakfast/lunch. Note: here is how to find the property, near the marker there supermarket, follow the road behind it and you will see two houses, it is the one on the left.

Beds are just wonderful, including sheets 100% made of cotton and very comparable pillows. We took an apartment (it was the same price as a regular room), even though since it is state property about 60 years old, I'm sure regular rooms are quite comfortable as well (the hotel is not built only for profit, but also to give visitors chance to see the a memorial spot and a museum). But, even guests who are not interesting in history at all, would have great benefit of spending at least one nigh in the hotel since it is so quite and peaceful. Only woods and mountains around. We fall in sleep at 21 (first time after early childhood) and woke up so refreshed. Stuff is more then kind, and the apartment was very clean. Food was nice, but during the summer they have some very interesting offer such chamois goulash (definitely organic for the price of non organic). And generally, the price for one night stay with breakfast is very, very reasonable.
