Stayed in an apartment for family. Very clean and had all the facilities you needed. The room was very nice and would say more 5 star than 3!! We had a traditional Bosnian coffee and breakfast which was lovely. Staff very friendly and polite.

A true paradise in a breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful location, right by the river Una, this place is a home away from home. It's a family-run accommodation, with warm, welcoming hosts and excellent breakfast, including home-made products and fresh, organic fruit from their orchard. From the stylish, country-side décor, comfortable rooms with a beautiful terrace overlooking the river Una, to the huge garden with a swimming pool and plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks, this is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. We have enjoyed every second of our stay there, including the kayaking on the gorgeous river Una. We will surely be back!

Our stay at Vila Medo in Kulen Vakuf, right in the heart of Una National Park, was absolutely unforgettable! The apartment was incredibly spacious for the two of us—spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and located just steps from the stunning Una River. What truly made our stay special was the amazing hospitality of our host, Mersad. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The apartment was thoughtfully stocked with fruits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cold water, and drinks—which was such a lovely touch. And to top it all off, Mersad's mom made us a homemade apple and berries pie that was absolutely delicious! It's rare to experience this level of warmth and generosity. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories. Highly, highly recommended!

    Personally I like Kulen Vakuf very much because it provides...

    Personally I like Kulen Vakuf very much because it provides a quiet environment, which is on the other side close to other amazing locations you can visit (you can reach them in less than one hour by car) as well as a good ambient for walking or cycling. We visited Strbacki buk, Martin Brod, Bihac, restaurants alongside Una (on the road to Bihac and Natura Art). A little farther is Bosanska Krupa and the old town of Ostrozac which are also worth a short visit. The National Park of Una is really place people who want to rest from city and work stress. In Kulen Vakuf you have a small restaurant next to the blue bridge with delicious meals (I would recommend trout and pita). In the morning you can buy bread in the same restaurant.

    Worth visiting the village, there were some local restaurants open and sinse it's in the heart of the National Park, the walks around are spectacular! Not to mention howling of the wolfs at night.

    Beautiful place for rest.

    Beautiful place for rest. Great surrounding locations and good restaurants (Kulen Vakuf and the area in the vicinity of 50 km). I would recommend visiting surrounding areas like Martin Brod and Strbacki buk)
