Excellent elegant hotel with beautiful gardens, very friendly stuff. Room was spacious with patio. Very tranquil atmosphere. Beach are well kept with comfy launch chairs. Waters are amazing. Hotel is located within short stroll along the beach to Holetown mall- A must visit. Try le Paris caffe- the best pastries there. Mall has live music, nice collection of shops, cafes, restaurants, icecream shop and grocery store.

Perfect home from home, Ottie was exceptionally well equipped with kitchenware, basic kitchen supplies like oil etc, towels, beach towels, bedding and some toiletries. Great washing machine and dryer (very handy subject to downpours 😂). Tastefully decorated, clean, AC in bedrooms, lovely shower room. What more could you ask for? We loved the location - nearest beach is a five minute walk along to Jumas (nice beach bar, food average) and Lone Star (fancy and expensive!) or there’s Thunder Bay about a 20 minute walk in the other direction (cheaper sunbeds, food and a more relaxed vibe). Sitting out front of the property, we were always waved at and the locals were all very friendly and there were often monkeys running around too! (Note the front garden is right on the main road but the upside of this is that you can hail a bus/taxi to/from the front door!) There’s a convenience store across the road (just the basics) or Holetown is half an hour walk away (bus journey time varies depending on traffic) where there’s a big supermarket and a variety of shops, bank, restaurants etc. The convenience store also doubles up as a kind of local bar - you can buy beers and sit outside watching sport on their huge tv and having a chat with the locals - we really enjoyed that! Finally - thank you to Akeema the lovely agent there to meet and greet us at the beginning and end of the holiday - she is a lovely lady and exceptionally helpful!

    St.Andrew is known as part of the Scotland District of...

    St.Andrew is known as part of the Scotland District of Barbados. It's rugged and very beautiful. The seas are usually rough but the beaches are great for walking. You can pick fruit like seagrapes and fatporks on the sand dunes. If you are lucky you might even see some leatherback turtle hatchlings. If you are a hiker there are many marked trails for you to enjoy.

    I had a most enjoyable stay at Santosha Resort in Feb/ Mar...

    I had a most enjoyable stay at Santosha Resort in Feb/ Mar 2023. I wanted some where to rest, reflect, chill and make plans for 2023. St Andrew was the right place for me. I was enroute to St. Lucia, and I was resting for 3 days. I did not visit the beach or go on any excursions. I wanted to visit Bridge Town and Christ Church, but for the taxi fare increases, 3 days prior to my stay. I was quoted $40.00 Barbadian Dollars to Christ Church from my resort, before my departure from the UK. This was increased to $65.00 Barbadian Dollars, on my arrival in Barbados. My resort was self-catering. I purchased my food before arriving at the resort. I made myself, hand burgers and sausage rolls with salads. Breakfast was porridge. I had beers, coffee, tea, juice and much more. The closest restaurant was a mile away from my resort. I enjoyed your Banks beer. I would say, if you are staying for more than 3 days, hire a car, without hesitation. You will find it a lot easier to get about the island. I probably will stay in Christ Church next time. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay in St. Andrew. Thank you.
