Perfect location, situation and renovation. Delicious breakfast, comfortabele room, furnished with taste. In front of the tram house, close to “rent a bike”. The hostess does her utmost to give you the best possible stay in De Haan. Highly recommended, we hope to come back soon.

Everything!!!!! We went for 2 nights with my children and we all lives the place!!! the pool is amazing! perfect temperature absolutely clean and well mantained! the breakfast was great and open until 10 right next to the pool! The parking is huge and very practical and has a place to charge electric car. The reception staff is absolutely great! they we’re so nice with kids and providing towels for the pool as well. The rooms are also with enough space! we had a family room and it was perfect! with view to the pool. Tehre was also a huge park with a football out h which my children lives and played along with some friends who were also at the hotel. It was a PERFECT stay! The small city of De Haan is 7 min away by car and it’s a beautiful place! nice to walk along with shops and restaurants and very large beach. Absolutely recommend this hotel! We will love to come again!

    A stunning village - for anyone interested in architecture it is worth taking the time to stroll the wide boulevards and check out the incredible houses, each different from the other. The beach is close by with a long paved promenade, deckchairs and many facilities. There is also a tram service through the centre of town with one direct to Ostende and train connection to Brugge.

    De Haan is a quiet and very picturesque town on the coast. The beach area is vast and deep; there is space for everyone and every activity. There are many offerings for every kind of tourist; sitting on the beach, walking, cycling, reading, etc….. Brugge is not far away for a day trip. The coastal tram is a convenient and hassle-free way to visit other resorts along the coast. Afterwards, it’s nice to return to the quiet of De Haan.

    Lovely sandy beachside town, friendly locals, great public transport especially the tram so easy to get to Ostend & Knokke-Heist. Fabulous bakeries !! We've been in the summer and winter as we have family living here. Beaches are fabulous in the summer & winter months, so much to do, always seems to be something going on somewhere along the coast, Christmas is fantastic, bike rentals are a must.

    De Haan was lovely. It seems to be an upmarket seaside town. I imagine it would look amazing in the summer, although with the Christmas lights it was magical at this time of year. Not many options for restaurants and most were very expensive. There was a lovely pop-up bar (basically an alpine-style wooden hut) which was rammed full every night with affordable beers and great atmosphere.

    Lovely beach, really wide and long.

    Lovely beach, really wide and long. Great supermarket (Delhaize) for self catering. Easy transport along the coast using the tram. Nice little town and the only one with low rise buildings behind the beach unlike the rest of the Belgian coast which has high rise apartments.

    Very pretty and clean., tasteful resort. All low rise buildings. Great that the tram runs the length of the Belgian coast line. Lots of opportunities for cycling, walking. Restaurant, fish options great.very hospitable friendly staff with multi languages. Cocktail bar Rogers was very good. All the restaurants were busy and full!

    Great countryside place for families with little kids. We spent there 5 nights and everything was great. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean, comfortable with sufficiently equipped kitchen. No issues what so ever with hot water as mentioned in other reviews. It is good to know in advance that you need to bring your own towels and bed linens which was not an issue for us as we knew. Close proximity to the sea, De Haan center etc. Home made ice cream from their own vending machine is really good.

    It was one of the cleanest properties I’ve ever been. Including hotels and other apartments. Everything was in order. It had al the basic necessities: clean towels, fully equipped kitchen.smart tv and even a convertible sleeping couch. The apartment was only a small tram ride away from either Oostende or De Haan. It was is very quite neighbourhood. I was pleasantly surprised with fact is so clean and i would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to go to De haan.

    We had a lovely stay during a sunny October weekend. The hosts are very attentive and available to any request you may have. The house is fully equipped, cozy, tidy, super clean, renovated with taste and perfectly located at a bit more than 1km from the center of de haan and the seaside. A real oasis of peace on the Belgian seaside!
