    Loved the view, the walk, setting out to glimpse the morning...

    Loved the view, the walk, setting out to glimpse the morning sun over the undulating landscape and trees! The chalet was cheerful and well laid out. The welcoming tea bags and snacks was very thoughtful of the owners. The balcony with the breakfast table looked great, but the floor was slippery from the dew and moss. Nevertheless I managed to exercise there in the fresh morning air.

    Nice place to visit, with some nice walks and many cycling...

    Nice place to visit, with some nice walks and many cycling paths. There are many attractions in the nearby such as castles and caves to visit. It's a great destination if you have children, with many activities to do with them (such as Dinant Evasion), but also if you're looking for an escape of a few days in the middle of nature. If you're a foodie, you'll be tempted by great local cuisine (beware: mainly meat based!).

    The nature in the surrounding area was very beautiful, and the city of Dinant was very lovely. Dinant was well worth seeing, but the nature around the accommodation was also extremely worthwhile. You could also go for a very nice hike along the Les Cascatelles promenade.

    Hastiere is a charming village in beutiful nature and it's close to many places a tourist will want to visit. But Lotissement des Gaux was a bad choice for accomodation since it was old, dirt and not well kept.
