Food and service at Sani was very good. Train journey to Plovdiv good and very cheap. Trail walks good. Asenovgrad is changing rapidly, new buildings generally look really good. Asen's fortress is well worth a visit.
Asen's fortress is well worth a visit. In the mountains, the wonder bridges are just that - stunning- the Thracian places Belintash and Karajov Kamak are both well worth a visit as well - if you like interesting rocks - though KK is the best part of a three hour round walk but stunning when you arrive.
