Kazanluk is an amazing town, very clean and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. It is close to the Buzludja and Freedom monuments, the Koprinka Dam and only an hour's drive to the Etar Ethnological village. Great place for at least 2-3 days. Every season is interesting. People are very nice. The ladies in this town are very stylish. Surprisingly there is a variety of restaurants - not only traditional Bulgarian mehana. For example greek restaurant Meraki serves 5-star meals! Lovely big room which was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable balcony. Breakfast was simple but very nice and served in a welcoming room. I also used the restauarnt both nights I stayed and the food was delicious. Situated in a quiet part of town but within a short walk to the Thracian tombs and about 15 minutes to the town centre and Rose Museum.
