A Bulgarian city you should visit. The influence of Vienna can be seen in the architecture of old buildings. The city history is long and can be seen in museums and by monuments. Ruse is lovely city , not too busy but I lot to explore.Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy long walks as before as we were surprised by the extreme cold weather-snowed twice in April.So for anyone visiting the area always be prepared for any weather conditions…As last year same time was over 30 degrees!We found lovely pizza restaurant Roma ,definitely worth eating there -very tasty and lovely atmosphere.Out waiter Philip was very welcoming and attentive!Guest review byGalyaBulgaria - 10.0
A very beautiful city on the banks of the Danube River,...
A very beautiful city on the banks of the Danube River, although parts are a little run down. Its architecture appears to be influenced by Vienna and Budapest, upriver, and as such quite different to other Bulgarian cities. There is a lot of history here and the city centre is a lovely area to stroll and relax day and evening. Many dining options around but, like most of Bulgaria, the smokers seem to get preference for the best tables. If I was to return to Bulgaria one day I would definitely like to return to Ruse and spend a bit more time exploring the surrounding area.Guest review byAndrewNew Zealand

It's a hotel very nicely located on the bank of river Danube, with views over the city of Ruse, Danube river and Romania across the river (mainly Ghiurghiu city). The room was very nice, clean, quiet and the personnel very helpful and nice. There are also a few restaurants to choose from, on the spot (we tried the Gardea). There is also free parking for the car. Lastly, the hotel is only a 5min walk from the centre of Ruse and Svoboda sq. We would stay again.Guest review byChristosLuxembourg

The apartment was spacious, clean, and exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s clear that the host takes great care in maintaining the place, which made our stay all the more comfortable. We did have a bit of trouble finding the address at first, but the host was very responsive and helpful, guiding us without any issue.
