Shipka is a quiet village at the foot of the Shipka memorial church. It was central to all our sightseeing and easy to locate. There are a few restaurants, shops, bars and even a pet shop. In the short period we stayed, we managed to see all the sights around the town. The responsive staff advises us on how to get around everything so that we don't waste our time and where they cook the most deliciously so that we don't go astray. Luckily for us, the place to eat turned out to be no more than 15 minutes from the hotel itself. The short walk between the hotel and the restaurant gives an opportunity to see a small part of the city, revealing part of its unique charm. Nice located, just near "Valley of the Thracian kings", you can visit the Thracian Thombs / tumulus that was excavated until now, you can visit the Roses Fields (if you are there in June / July) and the Roses oil museum in Kazanlak, do not forget to visit also the beautiful Shipka Orthodox Church. And of course, Buzludha and Socialis Torch monuments, also the Shipka Peek monument need to be visited!Guest review byNarcisRomania

We visited the ethnographic village at Etar, the liberty memorial at Shipka Peak, four of the Thracian tombs/burial mounds and Kazanluk. The Shipka church, just a few minutes walk from the apartment, was a real highlight.
