    Shipka is a quiet village at the foot of the Shipka memorial...

    Shipka is a quiet village at the foot of the Shipka memorial church. It was central to all our sightseeing and easy to locate. There are a few restaurants, shops, bars and even a pet shop. We enjoyed walking around the church and the village in the mornings and evenings before we went about our day of sightseeing to nearby attractions and towns.

    In the short period we stayed, we managed to see all the sights around the town. The responsive staff advises us on how to get around everything so that we don't waste our time and where they cook the most deliciously so that we don't go astray. Luckily for us, the place to eat turned out to be no more than 15 minutes from the hotel itself. The short walk between the hotel and the restaurant gives an opportunity to see a small part of the city, revealing part of its unique charm. On the negative side of things, I would be hard pressed to describe any. I would be lying to myself if I said we experienced any kind of inconvenience.

    Nice located, just near "Valley of the Thracian kings", you...

    Nice located, just near "Valley of the Thracian kings", you can visit the Thracian Thombs / tumulus that was excavated until now, you can visit the Roses Fields (if you are there in June / July) and the Roses oil museum in Kazanlak, do not forget to visit also the beautiful Shipka Orthodox Church. And of course, Buzludha and Socialis Torch monuments, also the Shipka Peek monument need to be visited!

    Everything was perfect. I love the location - it's secluded and the nature is gorgeous. You can have a walk among wild horses and enjoy the scenery from the nearby peaks. The hotel itself is stylish and made with lots of love. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff is fantastic! Can't thank them enough for the warm welcoming and the care. Can't wait for my next visit.

    Brilliant hotel in the village of Shipka, with very hospitable owners. Perfect for visiting the Buzludzha and Shipka monuments and nice to stay in a Bulgarian village instead of the big cities. Very nice rooms and very nice full service breakfast. Rooms had balconies and a beautiful view over the village and surrounds. An old, traditional but beautifully kept hotel. Parking right outside on the street.

    Beautiful place, top quality throughout. Everything provided and the attention to detail was amazing. Very short 5 minute walk up the hill to Shipka Church which is stunning. Host was very pleasant and gave us information about the local amenities.

    Very friendly welcome and easy to arrange time to meet to get the keys to the property. A really beautiful and traditional cottage in a central part of the village and a nice walk to the Shipka church. Very clean and comfortable.
