Very good location , luxury, had all amenities. The staff was very polite and very friendly . The room was clean and warm ! It was quiet ,despite the central location . Few minutes from a metro station and 10 min walk from the Main Street ! They have options for an outside or an inside parking which is very comfortable ,considering the location and that everything around it’s a paid zone ,and price is quite low !

Absolutely incredible, location of the hotel is amazing literally everything is within 10 to 15 mins of walk, and all that but I won't lie what really makes this hotel a true jewel and the heart of this hotel so to speak is definitely the wide warm and vibrant and caring and many more adjectives and synonyms apply to the people of this hotel, I absolutely enjoy each and every second of my stay with them, and they treat you like you are part of them like a friend who came for a visit...now to specifics: I want to appreciate in order of meeting Stoyan for being absolutely welcoming and helpful, Natalie (the maden at the bar) for the amazing conversation and for entertaining my terrible ideas of randomness, Ivelina for just sitting with me for a but while I got my barings and for being absolutely hilarious)), and best for last Thomas honesty, for truly treating me as a friend and assisting and advising and just making my stay here truly something heartfelt and for all the coffee talk. I will definitely be advising this hotel to everyone and you guys are absolutely amazing! Love to each and everyone of you!! I will kind miss staying here!

The second time visiting a city is always different and for us, better. We already knew our way around the metro and trams and where we wanted to return to. We found the shop and restaurant owners in the non-touristy areas much more friendly than those in the old town. We stayed a week this time to photograph the Socialist Museum outdoor statues and capture regular Sofia at dusk and night time. We had visited the museums on our first visit and thought they were all good and worth visiting. We really like this city!!

Getting about was so easy, lots of public transport which was very reliable. I recommend getting a 3 day transport pass which was roughly £7 and can be used on buses, trams and the metro system. Food is really good and so is the beer. If you want to try the local food give Hadjidraganovs Cellars a go. English is spoken at most places so communication isn't too much of an issue. Encountered many friendly locals.

Really liked Sofia, it was culturally interesting, felt safe walking around the centre, even at night. English was widely spoken and everything was good value. The food options and quality were fantastic. All interactions were pleasant. Public transport is great and incredibly cheap. We only stayed for two days, and this felt about the right amount of time as there is not a great deal of visitor attractions in the city itself. My biggest tip, beware of uneven pavements, nearly tripped/fell over more than once - this was not helped by some very poor street lighting. The Museum of Illusions was a highlight alongside dinner at Staria Chinar, an amazing Bulgarian restaurant.

What places did you like? I really enjoyed the city center area, especially Vitosha Boulevard — full of life, nice cafés, and beautiful architecture. The parks nearby are also perfect for a relaxing walk. Where did you eat? We tried a few local restaurants around the center — Made in Home and Shtastlivetsa were our favorites. Great food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere! Is it easy to travel around Sofia? Yes, it’s very easy. Most places are within walking distance from the apartment, and public transport is convenient and affordable. Taxis and Bolt also work great for longer distances. What activities do you recommend for groups of friends? Exploring the old town, visiting Vitosha Mountain for a short hike or sunset view, and enjoying the cafés and bars along Vitosha Boulevard. For something different, try a wine tasting or a free walking tour — both fun and great for groups.

Lengthy pedestrian precincts, many shops also open on Sunday as the Gallery. Fine variety of restaurants including vegetarian and also vegan shops. The metro is easy, modern and cheap. Worth buying a pass for several days. All religions represented by fine buildings, with easy access. A worthwhile visit.

We didn't venture out much because of the weather but when...

We didn't venture out much because of the weather but when we did, in our opinion, the streets were hard to walk on because of the cobbled stones and uneven pavements, I was very wary of going over on my ankle plus the very few locals we came in to contact with appeared to be unhelpful and rude, apart from the staff at the accommodation complex. We didn't manage to visit any popular places because of the weather.

Without a doubt, it is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at. It is not like a typical chain hotel; it’s truly a unique small hotel with an exclusive design. Each room of the hotel is inspired by a remarkable Bulgarian artist. I stayed in the Thread room, and it looked gorgeous. Even better then on photos. The location is also perfect if you would like to take a walk and enjoy a couple of cocktails nearby. The staff is friendly and supportive.
