Could have been worse. It is a well developed place with many stores but not really good for a beach holiday - the beaches are tiny and there's nowhere to park if you are a visitor. Lots of new developments and multistorey apartment buildings very close to each other, which gives the place a big city vibe. Regarding the resort: Probably the most beautiful resort we have seen in Bulgaria. It's clean, the people are friendly, civilized, with plenty of restaurants, clubs, and at least decent shops. Sveti Vlas used to be small, quaint village 3 decades ago. Now, it looks like the suburbs of a metropolitan area, build without any planning vision. There are too many building next to each other making you suffocate. Sveti Vlas is lacking the structure of a sea city with a nice walking area for the visitors. In addition, there are no regulation for parking and lack of good parking spaces. Cars are all over the places and create an ugly picture. Some buildings offer parking space yet at arrival the visitor is informed there isn't parking. Then, the adventure starts to find a place or or return back and leave or find another property.
