We felt safe to walk during the day and night.
We felt safe to walk during the day and night. Food, clothing and haircuts are cheap. Most people are helpful and very friendly. La Paz has a few world records: highest capital city (so ensure you have Diamox to reduce altitude sickness symptoms) and the largest cable car network in the world (well worth the 12 BOB for 2 hours use as we covered 6 different routes.Guest review byMichaelW62Australia - 8.0
We didnt have long in La Paz.
We didnt have long in La Paz. We went on a walking tour on the first day, but didn't particularly enjoy it. I think we started too early and a lot of things were not fully open. The cable cars were great though. We enjoyed these more, and it gave us amazing views of the city. We really loved the Valley of the Moon also. We went to the women wrestling show, which was lots of fun. The death road cycle was a challenge, but it was an amazing trip.Guest review byYvonneNew Zealand - 8.0
People are very friendly in La Paz.
People are very friendly in La Paz. The Mi Teleferico is such an amazing local commuting transportation easing the traffic congestion for its residents. The system is so efficient and I found it a very unique experience with applause. The Mirador Killi Killi viewing point is just spectacular too. La Paz is a huge city, bigger than I was thinking.
La Paz is a huge city, bigger than I was thinking. There are tons of areas and locations to visit whiting La Paz, such as Lake Titi Kaka, Volcanoes, Andes Mountain Range, the "death road", cable cars, historical downtown, the witches market, etc. I stayed for 3 days and 3 nights, and I believe it was enough for La Paz itself.Guest review byCMoreno05Mexico
