This is a very special place. Mike the owner says it has a special energy. For us it was a place of peace and harmony with nature. The sunrise over the river, go for a swim, in the morning mist with the sounds of the jungle - unbelievable! In the afternoon the howler monkeys roam the treetops over the small complex. Everything is laid out very sustainably and the fabulous cook spoiled us with local food and a breakfast of our choice. We'll be back - Mike, big hug! We had an awesome stay at the lodge! Everyone is super friendly and so helpful! They can organize and book many tours for you or just recommend things to do. The room we had was very clean and the food at the restaurant is great! The pool was refreshing! The lodge is directly next to the Mayan ruins Cahal Pech, which is definitely worth visiting! Highly recommended!!! You can see and feel that the lodge is maintained and led with love!

The hotel was great and the staff were lovely and really helpful. Our room was big and clean. The staff at the hotel were really accommodating and helped us book in some tours. The restaurant at the hotel had really great food - we ate there most of the time (breakfast, lunches & dinners). It was about a 25min walk down hill to town but you could taxi back for 8-10 Pesos. The pool was relaxing and clean as well. I would stay here again for sure.
