Tiny town, Langley is close by if you want to do some serious shopping. Our main purpose was simply to get away from the explosions and chaos of July 4th. I suppose a 'noteworthy' thing about the town is they are home to the Vancouver Zoo. Why it's called 'Greater Vancouver Zoo,' I have no idea. My gut reaction is 'Greater than what?' The hotel was well kept, however I had called the front desk...
The hotel was well kept, however I had called the front desk to tell them my mom was in an operation and I would come talk to them as soon as I got back to clear anything up. We returned, Ed watched me struggle to get upstairs with my mom who just got out of surgery, to find out the keys were deactivated. I had to leave her sitting at the front door of our room because I couldn't take her back downstairs. No empathy, no apology. It was very (walkable) and close to restaurants and other good stores. The hotel was very clean and the staff were accommodating. The first room wasn't compatible, so they changed it with no problems. Pool and hot tub were nice, towels provided at the pool. The breakfast was exceptional.
