United StatesThe rooms are large and well appointed. The office area has a lot of beautiful artwork for sale, but it's also very nice to just look at it. The breakfast was quite good, with a waffle maker and pastries along with fruit and yogurt and so on. The Wi-Fi was good. All the rooms are ground floor and there is sufficient parking for at least one car in front of each room.

CanadaBecause we stayed a couple of nights the owner gave us enough towels for our stay upon our arrival, so she wouldn’t have to disturb us. Our room was very clean and warm during the cold nights. There was plenty of hot water and pressure for our showers. WIFI was strong during our stay. Parking in front of our room was nice also.

The Farmer's market was fabulous with the music, the town crier, lovely variety of shops, and the beautiful location of the town. The museum of a few homes was very interesting to see as well as the fort and the gardens. Lots of small shops were welcoming. The benches along the shore to watch the sunset was popular. A great place to visit and find much to do in the summer, but very quiet and many places closed for the season in winter. Sidewalks generally rolled up by 8:00 in winter, but a few good places to eat if you can get there before they close early. Beautifully furnished room with electric fireplace. Salt water pool clean and comfortable temperature. Night light in bathroom and outside chairs on little front patio. Friendly, accommodating staff, good breakfast. This place is well taken care of as evidenced by handyman busy making the minor repairs that keep things working smoothly. Regarding the Motel- Here’s a few things that we really liked: the Annapolis Royal Inn is located just a short drive from town, free parking, friendly staff, temperature of room- excellent, great bedding, the shower velocity (excellent), and a nice breakfast, Just a couple of things to mention that weren’t so great: two gobs of gum on the floor by the bedside table and a broken toilet handle. Gave me a feeling of “sub standard”. But these things are hopefully addressed because everything else was good. Now the town: we keep going back and love this place. It is beautiful, historic, so friendly. Go visit the exceptional staff at ARCH&PO. It is our new favourite. The staff are so friendly. Every food item - EXCELLENT! What an absolute jewel. The Saturday market is just lovely. The river never disappoints. The drive to Victoria Beach is beautiful through Granville Ferry. However our one huge disappointment was the restaurant Called “Crow’s Nest”. The worst fish and chips ever. The fries were over-cooked and the fish was unbelievable. Supposed to be 2-pieces. The fish was the thinnest, unbattered, fishiest, unpalatable fish I have ever experienced. Disgusting. We were looking forward to this place. This inn is very old and hasn’t been updated. The rooms and hotel were very clean. For $200 a night, I could have gotten a much better location & nicer room. The location was okay as it took less than 5 minutes to drive into town. The breakfast was waffle machine, hard boiled eggs, toast/ bagels, tea & coffee.
