We greatly enjoyed Baddeck's Lobster Suppers. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service given by Carley was excellent. All staff generated a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Loved the Bell Historical Museum and the drive of the Cabot Trail. Within the town, we found people very helpful and proud of their town. Food was good everywhere and so was service. If you are an "outdoors person", there is more to do than for us indoor city types.Guest review byEd2goCanada - 8.0
Petty touristy town on the shores of a large lake.
Petty touristy town on the shores of a large lake. Available public parking is horrible as there are too many cars for the available parking. The Bell museum is definitely a must see and worth a couple of hours visit. The boat cruise on the Ameba is a very peaceful afternoon activity. The town can be a base for day trips elsewhere if you are lucky enough to have nice lodging. Terrific breakfast and dinner at the Freight Shed Terrace. Every venue was close. “Freight Shed” restaurant was excellent and served the best seafood chowder we have ever had, and we have had seafood chowder all over the east coast! “The High Wheeler deli cafe bakery” was also a favorite for excellent coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. We really liked Baddeck and wished we had stayed overnight..
We really liked Baddeck and wished we had stayed overnight.. We went to the Alexander Graham Bell Museum which was free and loved it. It's easy to walk around Baddeck and enjoy the flowers, water and sailboats. Our car battery died while in Baddeck. There is an excellent garage S. J. MacRae & Son in Baddeck. They replaced our battery in a few hours. The Lobster Supper restaurant was recommended to us. It was crowded and we did not wait for a table.Guest review bylewis - 10.0

We did a Ceilidh at the Parish church hall , great fiddle/piano and dancing for $20, foot stepping entertainment Alexander Graham Bell Museum. Big Spruce Brewery Great food at the Freight Shed, great chowder! Awesome Pizza at Tom's Pizzeria don't miss this place for lunch Local waterfall nearby around a 2km loop -Uisage Ban Falls uneven terrain not for everyone, but beautiful gem If you love lobster their is a restaurant that serves lobster and all you can eat mussels and chowder- info booth in town very helpful We stayed and continued on the Cabot Trail , views amazingGuest review byJulieCanada

Very comfortable and clean and just a seven minute drive from Baddeck. There is a restaurant with a particularly stunning view and good food for reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our needs (we had booked the wrong type of room by accident and they helped us correct our error easily and with no additional charge!). I can't say enough good about it. I hated to leave, so relaxing sitting in the back deck enjoying the water view. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable.
