What we liked most was the location (close to whale watching departure point in Baie-Saint-Catherine), the cleanliness of the place (rooms, kitchen and lounge), the genuine kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. Baie Sainte-Catherine is a remote area reached by a highway with extreme grades and a lot of turns. It's popular with tourists for challenging hiking and whale-watching. Most of the accommodations are older and basic; les Chalets de la Colline is the best place to stay. There is only one small Co-op grocery store. If you like nature and have all of your provisions with you, this is a great place to explore and unwind.Guest review byCarolyn - 8.0
We stayed there for 2 nights.
We stayed there for 2 nights. If you plan to do your own cooking, prepare in advance. There is only one store around for grocery and gas and the prices are a bit higher. There is only restaurant, it says it closes in 9pm but actually works till 8pm and the staff is not very friendly. If you go to Tadoussac, plan your trip, you have to catch the ferry between 9 and 10 am if you don't want to wait 2 hours.Guest review byRadostCanada

It faces east, so you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the sea in the morning. It also has a lovely garden where you can spend some time relaxing.
