Given that it is an older style motel, the room was large with a very comfortable bed, desk, table for two, kitchenette including a larger than usual fridge. In addition to the microwave, the two-ringed stove was a welcome bonus to cook a proper meal. Saucepan, frying pans and strainers also provided. We noticed a negative comment about train noise in one review. We arrived around 5:30 in the afternoon and left by 9:30 the next morning. In that time we only heard one goods train which was not very noisy at all. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great stay.
