Everything, wonderful warm welcome and fond farewell. Room and ensuite were beautifully furnished and decorated. Huge bed, excellent linen. Breakfast of Dutch Pancakes on the deck with a lake view was exceptional.

Everything. Very, very friendly owners. Beautiful place with all we needed. It’s a shame we only booked for one night. Tip: book at least for two nights, it’s worth it and there is enough to do in the area.

Such a little piece of heaven .. quaint and quiet .. and the most wonderful cabin .. a kitchen stocked with everything you would ever need .. and a gift of fresh eggs and homemade jam .. extremely comfortable bed .. just fantastic .. and greeted by Nelly and daughters .. such a nice family .. highly recommend..

Spacious room, spotless and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Staff throughout were very friendly and welcoming and the girl running the breakfast was exceptional. She was always busy clearing away and topping things up. It's a drive into town but this did not bother us. Plentiful parking.

    The area was a nice and quiet place, with a great view of the water. Not too hard to access the water. Weather during our trip was a bit hot out, so didn't get to stay in the water for too long. But so many places to rent a boat or jet ski and just hang out at the water.

    Randy was extremely friendly and welcoming, and we were met with a lovely glass of wine. Really helpful in booking us a table at the local pizzeria too (who were brilliant and a short walk or drive away). Comfy bed, nicely decorated bathroom with great shower. (Side note - best hairdryer I used all road trip! And nice to have a homely feel amongst staying in hotels). Breakfast was home-cooked, really tasty and reasonably priced. New dishes for us to try too.

    Stunning location, very relaxing, welcome wine on arrival was a nice bonus! The set up of the rooms is fabulous. Walking distance to some shops and cafes. Not a long walk into blind bay itself. Beautiful heavy towels that get luxurious, lovely queen bed & cute robes to wear to fully relax too. Hannie encourages you to relax straight away and it’s very easy to do so! Absolutely stunning views :)

    We have just spent 2weeks in Canada and this was the best accommodation during our stay. The room was to a high standard and the hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast on the patio was great too. I would highly recommend anyone who is visiting Blind Bay to stay at Hannie’s Gasthuis

    Wow stunning location ‘Blind Bay’ and this accommodation was incredible overlooking the bay, fantastic spot! The hosts Johanna and Rudy were extremely friendly and helpful, you can tell they really care and are interested in helping others. Can highly recommend to others!!
