Travelled with 5 motorcycles terrified they would be damaged or stolen if we had stayed at this place. Contact person was not at location, in the apartment we were directed to go to through owner on booking.com site - Owners have refused to respond or refund. Blind River is a small town on Hwy 17 between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie and a very nice place to visit. My mom and I spent 5 days here and explored the other towns including Elliott Lake, Massey, Spanish, Thessalon, Bruce Mines and St. Joseph Island. The fort which is the main reason to visit is closed on MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS!!!. Blind River has some nice shops and restaurants and the people are very friendly. You can access the beach on Lake Huron which is sandy. There are many lakes and rivers and hiking trails to explore if you have transportation. I would go again but stay somewhere else for sure.
