The staff were fantastic. They chatted with the kids. Gave them a candy. They provided nightly popcorn and cookies. The room was clean, comfortable, and the AC worked great. As a family, we were very happy with the service, accommodations, and price.

We liked 'Everything'. Our suite was The Coach House. A separate building with 2 bdrms and 2 bath, Full Kitchen, beautiful dining room (brand new table and chairs) and living room had 2 full size sofas, fireplace, large TV. Mr Noble was very hospitable, hard working and accommodating. His staff are the nicest group, kind and also accommodating. Our suite was spotless. There were 3 BBQ's and some of the guests enjoy dinner or a drink at the picnic tables. Each suite is generously equipped and unique. I suggest contacting My Noble directly to find which suite might suit your needs. We stayed for 6 nights and we are already planning our next trip. The Location is excellent - walking distance to many attractions, restaurants (highly recommend Buell Street Bistro) and the waterfront including walking trails).

Reeked of diesel fuel on Rockport Cruises unfortunately.

Reeked of diesel fuel on Rockport Cruises unfortunately. Otherwise it was a great cruise! Aquatarium was a little bit of a disappointment. There was plenty of room in the reptile area, but they were housed in cages that I felt were far too small for their needs with lots of space in between. 2 cages were empty and had no labels as if the reptiles had died. I really liked the part where kids could touch the creatures of the sea bottom, and I will suggest that to Science North in Sudbury, it is an excellent display. . But there were a few displays that were empty, the place kind of looked like they were in the midst of renos. Also, it was really far from parking and since I used a cane I felt it overly difficult. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did find a plush beaver for a very reasonable price in the gift shop.

Brockville is an interesting small city of 22,000 to visit.

Brockville is an interesting small city of 22,000 to visit. It has a variety of restaurants, shopping and being on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River and close to Prescott, Gananoque and Kingston there are numerous islands on this stretch of the river and, therefore, many cruises available. Fortunately, during our week there, the weather was magnificent which permitted us to do a lot of walking in the downtown core which has many splendid historical buildings to admire.

On this trip we had young family members with us and they had a great time in the Aquatarium . What a super place , its so child friendly we had a hard time dragging the children away from each area. We also enjoyed the tunnel experience and a shout out to Prehistoric World in Morrisburg . Overall Brockville made a great destination for a young family.

Begin with the visitor's centre for a map and update on all things in Brockville - they had many great suggestions. My top picks: The underground railroad, then follow the Waterfront Trail to the Museum (it was Great!) and continue on the Waterfront Trail for a lovely walk. Do not miss the Aquatarium. Take a walk around the downtown area to see many important historic buildings. For dinner, make a reservation at Buell Street Bistro - we had a wonderful meal and excellent service while sitting in their outdoor patio.

We were only here on an overnight visit after going to a show at the Upper Canada Playhouse. The weather was cool and overcast so although we drove around for a bit did not really take in the sights. The downtown area is a must to see though and holds an old time charm that should not be missed. From historical period homes and lovely shops/stores to visit and all set against the mighty St Lawrence River. We have promised ourselves to go back when it gets warmer and take full advantage of the area.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay in Brockville and found enough to do there. The town is pleasant to explore with some nice shops and restaurants. The museum and railway tunnel are interesting, the river cruise is fun, the scenery beautiful and the waterside location relaxing. Pace of life feels slow and this is reflected in some of the service we experienced in the restaurants. There are opportunities for swimming and boating but we did not try these. We also did not visit the Aquatarium but this looks good especially for children. Overall a really nice place to visit where the locals seem to take a great pride in their town and their history.

The hosting couple were welcoming and charming. The house itself is beautiful and has an historic quality, representative of the Georgian architecture of Brockville. We were walking distance to Brockville's waterfront which is a great place to visit. At breakfast we had a stimulating conversation with the hosts and the other guests staying in the house. Ida and David were very instrumental in providing an atmosphere conducive to excellent conversation.

Absolutely perfect in every way! Location, amenities, decor and comfort. The attention to every detail was well thought out. We were on our first stop of a 2 week road trip and this hotel was such a delightful surprise, exceeding our expectations. We stayed in The Nest.

Great motel for a night stay with great breakfast option. Room was clean and with all the facilities. Parking exactly outside your room so it was great. Few mins drive into Brockville town which was really a gem for a stroll and a quick coffee. Highly recommended!
