Much less busy than Banff, so easier to get around and quieter in town. It is also less expensive and all the people we met were very friendly. We went on a river ride, if we had stayed longer we would have gone hiking and explored the surrounding area more. Great outdoor market in Elevation Place.

Have to pay for parking near town centre but lots of lovely independent shops/ restaurants to choose from. Amazing mountain views all around & good location for main route 1. Eat at Rocket Pie pizza & Cacao 69, both delicious & reasonable prices!

We liked Canmore much more than Banff town.

We liked Canmore much more than Banff town. Banff was full of tourists and busy with difficulty parking. Canmore was more laid back with and easier accessibility to parking and moving around town. This resort lies outside of Canmore.

Canmore is a neat town; however, the parking is a nightmare.

Canmore is a neat town; however, the parking is a nightmare. It is very popular and crowded, even in September. The restaurants and eateries were very good, and the employees around the town were extremely friendly.

    It’s a lovely place!

It’s a lovely place! Close enough to Banff - 15 minutes - to be able to get there easily. But not nearly as crowded! The town itself has lovely open streets to enjoy and plenty of restaurants and breweries to add to the experience. We loved the drive over to Banff with such amazing mountain views! And a big surprise was Sauvage Restaurant with a tasting menu created from foraged ingredients! A delicious and impressive place!

Canmore is a beautiful town with a fantastic position in the Rockies. We have been going regularly for several years and in my view it is being spoilt by a rush to build, build, build and its character is in serious danger of being ruined. Still worth a visit but go soon before it is completely ruined.

Comfort the amenities and location. Spring Creek has its own grocery store and cafe which were both lovely High specification with luxury appliances. Would highly recommend. Preferred Canmore to Banff as it was less touristy. Within walking distance to Downtown with good choice of bars and shops.

Canmore lovely town with a lot of charm - worth visiting and a good alternative to Banff. The condo itself was well stocked, with all the appliances, netflix and also passes available to visit the parks (nice bonus). Communication clear with the host/professional services team

It was a good hotel, had a pool and spa …. But just thought it was really expensive … on saying that everything in Canmore was expensive . Yes we were there at a long weekend …. But just don’t believe it could justify the cost .
