Loved Caraquet!! Only downfall is that we there on a Saturday night and could not get on any restaurant for dinner at 5:30pm before getting on the road to Halifax. Everyone took reservations and a few of the staff at the restaurants weren't very friendly when we asked if they had a table , especially the Japanese restaurant . The staff member said we are booked Bd don't have a table and did not offer for us to be put on a waiting list or let us know the wait time . He was rude .

My stay was too short because of time constraints. The hotel was perfect. The fish restaurant on the quai was excellent. The ice cream next to it was delicious. The viennoiseries at the bakery were scrumptious. The ancient acadian village close by was worth the visit. Check it out.

Lovely, very small french town
Lovely, very small french town
Great sushi nearby, very good sized grocery store, several other small shops/liquor/gas/fastfood. Super close to the ocean, lots of scenic driveup lookoffs etc!

Cute little town with nice beaches, boardwalk area was great. Didn’t find many dining options though. A few family restaurants and take outs. Close to some other small towns so there is lots to do in a short drive.

It was a nice port city, you can spend a weekend there enjoy learning about the acadien history and visit the port. Acadian village is a 20 mins drive which you can spend a day there. A lot of interesting things. But not much to do more than a weekend.

As advertised it's a beautiful villa right by the ocean. All the appliances were fairly new and in good working conditions. We were able to sit by the firepit and watch beautiful sunsets. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The Wi-Fi reception was good. The villa was about a 20 minute drive to the town of Caraquet with lots of options for restaurants or groceries. We had good and fast correspondence with the host. The whole area was very quiet and peaceful.

This hotel is perfect for your travel stop, convenient, clean, friendly and helpful staff, close to everything. The part I don’t understand is the breakfast…Not healthy, barely anything, and the coffee was terrible especially the one in the room. Would be nice for exemple to have: Fruits, PLAIN yogurt, boiled eggs, oatmeal, nuts, some tomatoes and cheese, nice bread…
I was looking to do 5 days of cycling so this was a great location being only minutes from the Acadian Veloroute. I came pretty well self contained but If you need anything during your stay Caraquet is large enough to find anything you might need.

The hotel is nothing particularly special but it's nice enough. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Kind and helpful staff, free parking, nice views on the bay.
