Cosy cottage,comfy bed, clean, and friendly host. Perfect place for a couple retreat. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery, not too far from Wells Gray park, n the town centre. We could watch stars at night, too. All the amenities are provided, Shannon & Henry prepared everything, the kitchenette completed by hot chocolate, coffee, tea, even instant noodles. Thank you so much for the hospitable stay. Much recommended.

    Too short. It was an overnight stay.

    Too short. It was an overnight stay. Seems like a nice place. But the Ace Western Motel was not at all how it was posted on the site. Older photos on site. Our stay there was not pleasurable. Dirty bathroom and baseboards covered with dust. One of the queen beds if one person moved to get up the mattress flipped the other person out.

    Wells Gray Park is spectacularly beautiful with lots of...

    Wells Gray Park is spectacularly beautiful with lots of magnificent sites to see. We only saw a tiny bit of it, but could have stayed there a lot longer. The information centre outside the park is excellent and will guide you on what to see according to your time in the park and what you enjoy doing.

    Clearwater is a welcoming community.

    Clearwater is a welcoming community. We loved the Wells Grey park & the falls!. Local business employees are most friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the food & drinks at the grill at the Quality Inn. Staff were lovely!

    I had an amazing stay at the cottage.

    I had an amazing stay at the cottage. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The complimentary boats and kayaks were a great addition, along with the playground and recreational facilities. There were plenty of barbecues available, and the hiking trails were absolutely beautiful. The restaurant offered great quality food, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

    Really enjoyed the food at the Hungry Hiker Cafe. Service was great. Did not enjoy the food at the Caboose restaurant although it looked nice from the outside. The service was slow and the breakfast potatoes were horrible. She did offer to cook some fresh potatoes but why not serve fresh in the first place. A refill of coffee costs $3 so 2 cups is $6. Expensive for what you are given.

    We enjoyed our stay in Clearwater.

    We enjoyed our stay in Clearwater. We loved going to see the waterfalls. We only got to see the 6 "main" falls. Take your time, as some are a bit of a hike, but nothing too strenuous. We enjoyed the Happy Hiker and the Hop 'n' Hog Restaurants. The Happy Hiker had great service and a very good diner menu. At the Hop 'N' Hog the portions are huge. Bring an appetite. Our meal was delicious. We were sorry to have missed a tour of Clearwater Lake. We arrived after the last tour was gone. We also rand out of time to do any rafting. Something to do another time.

    For our overnight stay, The room was comfortable, very clean with working AC. The room had a cute patio set in a nook outside the back door of the room. The staff was friendly and the location is perfect. The restaurant in the hotel has great food, reasonably priced and has awesome staff.

    Very nice little cabin in beautiful Canada. It's a little up the mountains from the main road but the streets are very good and you can easily drive there. Kelly is a very nice host. You should ask her for recommendations for clearwater. We really enjoyed our stay. :)

    Listening to the river flow past the cabin, sitting inside with a fabulous river view, comfortable furniture...what's not to love? I only hope there's a cabin available next time I come through Clearwater. Great reviews tend to make that less likely.
