We had a spacious, clean, comfortable room.We had a refrigerator and coffee machine and tea kettle in our room. The location was within a short walk of a variety of restaurants, full grocery store, and craft brewery. Cristian was helpful with recommendations in the area and served delicious breakfasts with a variety of fresh fruit and yogurt. There was a selection of coffees and teas in the breakfast room. We would definitely recommend staying at Evergreen.

We were travelling in sub-zero temperatures with icy roads. Although the motel was an older property, we were very pleased to find the room was very warm and comfortable. It had been recently renovated and everything was brand new, including the mattress and bedding.

Great location. Directly on the road. Very clean. Modern look. Nice lights in the room. Provided lots of things like water, tea, soap, towels. Nice and straightforward staff. Not a lot of chitchat, but still very welcoming. Bit of a clichée motel (in the best way possible).

Usually, when a reviews say a hotel is in the renovation process, it means the rooms have been painted a new color and maybe given a new mattress. But this hotel took renovation seriously. The king room we stayed in was large, and the big surprise was the kitchenette which had a two burner electric stove, a small apartment sized refrigerator with a freezer, and all the cooking materials needed to make easy meals. But the true star was the renovated bathroom. The walk-in shower was generously sized and had both a rain, head showerhead, and a handheld. Normally in a hotel when you are given towels, they are at best. “large”. The towels here are actual bedsheets that you can wrap nearly twice around yourself. I must admit when we first drove up, because they are in the middle of renovating the outside, I wondered if we had made a good choice. But after three perfect nights of sleep, we knew we had made the right choice. For people who are traveling with pets, Memorial Park is right across the street, and you have access to numerous recreational opportunities for both you and your pet. This will be a true gem inside and out when the renovation is completed.

    Review of the Mountain View motel… stayed one night on our way to Okanagan Lake. It was Saturday night of Labor day weekend and due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to get a hotel room. Being a holiday there was not much available. We got the last room in Hope after no luck in the previous 2 towns. The rooms had been remodeled to a degree and what was done was nice but it still was a VERY tired property. My biggest complaint was the price. We had to pay $250. USD for a tired motor inn motel room worth about $70. USD. Which is about their normal rate. Charging $250. Is nothing short of price gouging.

    Absolutely beautiful little town.

    Absolutely beautiful little town. The residents are so friendly and I was very impressed how clean all the fast food places and gas stations were. I love the little shops in towns centre. Motels are decent prices (usually) I would recommend booking in advance. The scenery is so beautiful. I take so many pictures when I go. It is very small but that’s definitely part of the charm. Love coming to Hope for a little break from living in the city. I would recommend eating at Rollys for breakfast, it serves delicious food. There is also a really good place that makes fudge in the towns centre. Hope is nice for walking you can walk to most areas in a short time. Or driving is super easy if you don’t like walking. Very easy place to navigate.

    Hope is a Wonderful location for travelers with pets or travelers who love nature. You have multiple places to hike or play in rivers and lakes. Memorial Park in the center of town is a lovely place to have a picnic after purchasing a lunch at one of the many lovely eateries located on nearby streets.

    Quiet, clean town.

    Quiet, clean town. Othello Tunnels were still closed so we switched to plan B; went out to Hell's Gate; north of Hope on TC Hwy 1. Took the Airtram across the raging Fraser River & spent the afternoon taking in the views. Had supper back in town & did the wooden carving walking tour. Def recommend stopping in on your way north or south; Rambo was filmed there so many references & carving all over town.

    Pleasant town, but not a lot there.

    Pleasant town, but not a lot there. We visited it years ago and were impressed with the amazing flower garden in the center of town. That's all gone now, replaced by a playground / park. And the nearby Provincial park and railroad tunnel was closed. So it seems it's now just a sleepy 2-star town. Better to spend your time at Harrison Hot Springs a little west of there.

    Sweet place to visit. Very beautiful. Has all the amenities needed for a short visit. Save on Foods was directly across from my motel which was very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants for your choice and the people were friendly and helpful. A variety of stores if you need anything.

    Brilliant B&B. We stayed in the Tranquility room which was a very large room, great facilities and lovely decor. The room also had a balcony we could use. Breakfast was super. I had the home made waffles and strawberries. Excellent. If you are looking to stay overnight in Hope the location, facilities, hospitality and price are unbeatable. Another bonus, the b&b is right next to the Mountain View brewery 🍻

    We had an unplanned stay in Hope and found this lovely little place. We had such a good time, that we decided to stay another night. The kind and friendly people at Slumber Lodge made our stay exceptionally enjoyable and it was hard for us to leave. It had a warm friendly, cozy, family feel and we will absolutely stay again.
