Great stay. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is really nice and new items added every day. I wish they had connecting rooms as a family, it was hard to keep going from room to room to check on the kids. But overall great hotel.

It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop.

It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop. We would have liked to go to the waterfront, as we have done before, and take a boat cruise, followed by dinner. The problem is that it is so busy now and finding a parking space is problematic.

I grew up in the Kingston area and will travel there to visit family throughout the year. I love the city, love being able to show it to my partner and discovering new things about the city. I often recommend it as a destination location to friends who may be planning a trip to Montreal or Ottawa from Toronto, and encourage them to spend some time in Kingston.

Kingston was a surprise to us in a good way.

Kingston was a surprise to us in a good way. We were en route back to Toronto airport and had passed through on our way through originally to Ottawa/Montreal /Quebec and beyond. We didn't know about the 1000 Island National Park so it was a delightful surprise to find out more on the 3 hour river cruise. The independent book shop was a wee gem as are the adirondeck chairs scattered around. With family in Quebec we would consider coming back this way next time and seeing more of the city's fascinating history. Great coffee shops &ice cream.

Great city for a quick getaway, Lots of phenomenal restaurants and shops to poke around in. Kingston is a fun town with some complexity. Some neighborhoods appear a bit rough, and others look grand and historic, all making up an interesting destination for families or couples.

Location is great! It's just off the 401 (maybe 5 minutes) and only about a 12 minute drive to downtown Kingston! The Location of the hotel is private and clean. Staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet is great! The menu items changed daily, which was a nice surprise! The pool and hot tub areas are kept very clean. Would definitely go back!!!

The location was excellent close to the downtown core, walking distance. The kitchen staff were great; I requested an offering without eggs and an option was prepared for me and it was very good indeed! I would stay at the Rosemount Inn any time I find myself in Kingston!

nice location if you come to visit Kingston penitentiary museum since it's just a 5 mins walk from the hotel. They also have a huge parking lot right in front of the entrance. Noise insulation is not the best but in general it's okay for 1-2 nights stay

It's certainly more dorm than hotel, but honestly it was fine - clean, spacious, nice check-in staff, good value, and 15-20 min walk to get downtown. I'd recommend it if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Kingston.

Good place, very very friendly staff, very helpful. But, in my opinion the hotels in Kingston are far too expensive. Why pay the same price as for a hotel in a top New York location?
