We drove 2 hours from Quebec City to La Malbaie so we could visit the beautiful gardens of Quatre Vents. We stayed at a lovely B&B called Auberge La Chateleine and enjoyed an amazing dinner at Chez Truchon Bistro. Sorry we had only one day/night for this visit. La Malbaie is a beautiful destination with historic buildings. The Fairmont is spectacular. Scenery is incredible. Would highly recommend. The Manor is always superbly clean, and the staff are always cordial and helpful. The room we reserved had views of the river, and it did not disappoint. We ate a few times at the manor, and each time, it was delicious. I highly suggest taking in the weekend brunch. The activities available locally and on grounds are vast and fun and for all ages.
