The bed was super comfy, was able to connect my switch to the tv and play while there. Got a couple muffins and fresh fruit in the morning. All around comfortable stay.

    I am shopping for a home there. It is got a vibe that fits my lifestyle. The downtown is a historic gem. The little city can boast a ~5 minute drive to anywhere! I wish I had time to more walking around!

    We had THE BEST INDIAN meal ever at the 1947 restaurant in...

    We had THE BEST INDIAN meal ever at the 1947 restaurant in Lacombe - easily equal to food quality and taste profiles at world-class restaurants in large cities. Lacombe has NO way to get around - rent a car . The trip from airports in either Calgary or Edmonton by taxi is about $125 CAD

    You need to have reason to visit Lacombe, it's avery small but friendly city. Our reason was to visit friends. It claims to have the biggest fishing lure in the world. It's worth trying the local beers at a nearby craft brewery.

    Booking listed property as have in EV chargers. On booking I mentioned EV chargers and asked for main floor room. Property acknowledged request and confirmed main floor room. On phoning property re arrival time clerk did not know what an ev charger was and said they did not have them. Also room request had been voided and room was on upper level. So I traveled to public chargers in Red Deer, sat in car for 50 minutes, cancelled room and drove 2.5 hours to home. Will never book with that hotel chain again. WTF!

    the hotel itself was a little rough around the edges, nothing bad but about what you'd expect for the cost. you can tell the staff do their best, it was clean and the lady at the desk was so sweet and funny! the breakfast being a real hot meal was really great

    It appeared clean. Bedding looked newish - at least compared to the rest of the room. Staff at 12:30 am were efficient. I guess the price reflects the upkeep of the hotel. It was just off the highway but not in the town centre.

    The hotel was much more modern than I thought it would be and it was right across the street from the baseball diamond which was a big bonus since we were attending a tournament there.
