Great variety of beaches, some sandy, some stoney, but all with beautiful, warm, clear water. Lovely boardwalks along the harbour front marinas. Wonderful destination for sailors. Several good hikes. The room was clean, tidy and tastefully decorated suiting the lovely, historic atmosphere of the Manitowaning (with its museum, light house, water front, , , is much more than a transit point). There was a mistake in the handling of our booking but the friendly owner addressed the issue promptly & responsibly. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the a/c unit when it got a bit muggy outside. The view of Manitowaning Bay from our private deck was fantastic (gorgeous sunsets each night), and we enjoyed our swim at the dock.Guest review byLeighCanada
