Love the Gateway and its owners. Friendly people in the town, accomodating, good shopping, easy to get around, beach is wonderful as is the museum, peaceful, food is great whether at a deli at Coop or RD's. Niice little town, but very limited eating especially at after 8 pm - only Subway open. Has a couple of nice restaurants (Greco-Italian and Chinese) but they were closed. Main road in from West half washed out, but manageable. Nice historic buildings and places to stay but the water is super hard. Could barely raise a lather! Reminds me of any small agrarian town throughout Canada or the Western United States. Looks like a great place to retire or set-up a small business right on the Yellowhead Highway.Guest review byFred8014Canada
