I had such a lovely stay here – it truly felt like being welcomed into a family. The hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, and every little detail made it clear that my comfort mattered to them. Also, their dog was absolutely adorable – such a sweet companion! It's a two and a half hour drive from the ferry, that means a perfect location for the first night after arrival in Portes aux basques. Stephen was a fantastic, attentive host. Nico, the thoughtful dog, is a very friendly creature! The view from the deck is awesome. A jacuzzi is available. The bed was the best we ever had in Canada. The breakfast Stephen prepared for us was incredible. Altogether a hidden gem!
