Friendly people, perfect summer climate.
Friendly people, perfect summer climate. Unfortunately provincial highway 21 is the main street. Traffic going north and south congests' s everything. Restricted parking downtown. Traveler's using the road need to obey the speed limit's. No sign of the police enforcing speed limits. Port Elgin has a lot of good dining spots, there is no shortage.Guest review byGary - 10.0

We weren’t able to visit Pt Elgin, but we found it to be...
We weren’t able to visit Pt Elgin, but we found it to be quite convenient for a stop off before heading for the ferry At Tobermory. We’ll come back! Our only problem was navigating through the Toronto/kitchener part of southern Ontario and finally get to the main route(s) leading to Pt Elgin! I have been going to Port Elgin for over 50 years and it is my Happy Place. The beaches are beautiful and the residents are always friendly. Port Elgin has changed a lot over the years but it still feels amazing to visit...even if just a day or two.Guest review byJudyCanada - 10.0
Great city.
Great city. Hotel accomodations very good, clean and friendly. Great buffet breakfast included in stay. Only thing annoying was the heater in room...was quite noisy while running. Would wake me each time it kicked-in. Overall, would return and use this facility.Guest review byJames T - 10.0
