We found Quathiaski Cove was an excellent location for our visit to Quadra Island. It is located very near the terminal for the Campbell River ferry although the ferry and traffic did not produce any noise -- no boat whistle and we were not close enough to be affected by the small amount of ferry traffic. The view of cove and mountains was fabulous and there was always interesting activity on the water. We saw eagles and deer from our room. There is a little fish and chip shop and a coffee kiosk at the dock. A restaurant is presently being built right next to the resort. The little village is within walking distance and on Saturdays a Farmer's Market is held at the village. We noticed that other accommodation on the island was isolated and one would be required to use their car constantly. High Point Resort has a lovely swimming pool.Guest review byShirleyCanada - 8.0

Quathiaski Cove itself is basically the ferry terminal with a couple of coffee shop/food places. Quadra Island is a nature destination. We took a zodiak tour with Reuben of Wild Water Adventures and thoroughly enjoyed it.Guest review byCarolineCanada

The ferry, which connects Quadra Island with down town Campbell River, runs frequently and is a short 10 minute ride across the straight. It can be taken as a foot passenger for a nominal cost. This was the first hotel that actually had more than one cup of coffee available in the room. The swimming pool looked inviting and enjoyed by guests.
