Breakfast is simple but satisfied with fair enough choices ad service. Location is perfect! just walking distance to old quebec city and thats convenience for you to have a rest ay anytime if you get tired of walking tour. Hotel kindly prepared bed and disposable slipper for kid cuz we mentioned when we book the hotel. Valet parking is $35/day or you can park for 20/day (but you have to pay every time when you out)just next to the hotel, we prefer valet parking for its more convenience. Hotel is totally an art hotel and you definitely will have your picture day in hotel!

The room was very luxurious, and the espresso machine and water were freely available on the other floors. The body soap and hair shampoo used L'Oxitane and had a nice scent, and all the staff were kind. I would like to stay again when I come to Quebec City

It’s my hometown…Tourists understandably will love the Old Town with its European character. There is an abundance of great malls for the shopping addicts on Laurier Blvd. Cartier street and Maguire street are full of great cafes and eateries. You can bicycle all the way from the harbour along the St-Lawrence river and under the two bridges to Cap-Rouge where there is the « tracel » train bridge worth seeing.

The off/on bus is a MUST. Try to do it your first day.

The off/on bus is a MUST. Try to do it your first day. Notre Dame Cathedral was beautiful. A walk through the Plains of Abraham and the Parliament Buildings are close together and well worth seeing. Many small areas just to walk around in and see the sights. Was disappointed in the museum of civilization. Too many lovely restaurants to chose from. Our favorites were the Cafe de Paris and Polina Pizzeria. In the old city everything you want to see you can walk to. Bring good walking shoes. Lots of hills.

One of the world's great cities!

One of the world's great cities! The walled Old City is a UNESCO site with good reason. It literally overlooks the St Lawrence River from a height dominated by the iconic Chateau Frontenac Hotel. Though bus tours are available, the best way to explore the Old City is on foot, though the narrow streets and steep slopes may be difficult for some. Restaurants for all tastes abound, including the native French Canadian cuisine offered by such standbys as "Aux Anciens Canadians". Opportunities for shopping, gallery hopping and museum visits are also abundant in both the Old and New Cities, but the Changing of the Guard at the Citadel should not be missed!

There is so much living history in and around QC and it is so easily accessible. No car necessary and if you do bring one it can be expensive to park. You can pay to go into museums but many of the best areas/buildings are free to explore. Forget your diet, there are just too many culinary delights. Because the City is old with narrow cobblestone streets, many on steep slopes, it might be difficult for people with walking disabilities to get around but there are lots of bus tours to take you anywhere. Make sure you spend several days here to see it all.

Québec City is charming and great for walking on the traffic-free streets. The shops and restaurants are excellent, and Galerie de la Capitale is just a short drive for more shopping. The city has a wonderful night ambiance that makes evenings outside really enjoyable.

The city has a lot of interesting places to visit though...

The city has a lot of interesting places to visit though most activities are about looking at the architecture in the old town. With the so very many restaurants in the area most travellers spend a lot of time viewing posted menus to hunt for the best match, the main sport in the area. I think it is wise to plan ahead and target based on results as all is available online. Restaurants as in most tourist areas are pricy and prices reflect accordingly though some places are a bit more cost friendly than others. The other main attraction is to take a cruise on the Fleuve. The cruises offer various packages including a 3 hour serenated diner cruise with subsequent dancing. We booked the top offering costing 600$ for two persons and left the boat rather disappointed given poor service, no recognition for our top of the line purchase, chewy tenderloin, unseasoned lobster tail, faux garlic butter and more. If I were to repeat or my kids would want to go, I would take and suggest the cruise but eat dinner on land at a restaurant. Please note we may have been unlucky and part of the issue was caused by quality over price not being good.

Very convenient location away from the hustle of the old town. Nice walks along the waterfront. Easy location from the railway station which was useful having seen the long line waiting for cabs. For stays of 3 days or more, the hotel is able to provide a free bus pass valid for the duration of stay. Very useful indeed. Great staff who went the extra mile when we made various requests such as finding alternative for items left at home,
