St Albert is easy to get around. Many stores along the main road. St. Albert has a lot of history. The old part of St Albert is on Ste Anne street which is full of interesting little shops. St. Albert is a sprawling prairie city that appears to be...
St. Albert is a sprawling prairie city that appears to be preparing itself for growth. Hwy 2, aka "the St. Albert Trail" (the trail), cuts through the town offering a reasonably quick trip from South to North and beyond. (If you're familiar with Kelowna, think Harvey Ave (hwy 97) but one that actually flows during peak traffic times). It seems that most of the city's shopping and other amenities (restaurants, banks, gyms) are along the trail or else downtown. On Saturdays from June to sometime in September there's a brilliant farmers market downtown that's worth visiting. There are some nice walking trails out near the enormous sports field complex in the southwest part of town near Big Lake (John E. Poole wetlands) and the Enjoy Centre.Guest review byLee RogersCanada

It was most appreciated after a long day. Also, we requested a late check out as we were having fall service work done on our RV in Morinville. This was granted and it made our stay very convenient and more comfortable than sitting in our vehicle waiting for the work to be completed.
