    Did not stay long enough to visit or appreciate the city and...

    Did not stay long enough to visit or appreciate the city and its surroundings. Did not visit any attractions. I was in Shawinigan just for sleeping accommodation. My activity was in 3-Rivers but could not find any accommodation closer than Shawinigan (40 min away). Road system to get to Shawinigan is very good and fast.

    Everything was like expected - room fine, huge parking lot, booking procedure easy and simple. The hotel is centrally located with a view of the lake and just a little walk to the restaurants and cafés - restaurant Pacini under the same roof (great restaurant by the way). It takes only 20 minutes to Parc de la Mauricie.

    A beautiful riverside location. The lodge we stayed in was tastefully decorated and maintained to a high standard with modern shower and comfortable bed/sitting room. The owners have created a space that is greatly superior to many of the soulless hotels we stayed in on out 3 week trip across Canada!

    The room was very clean with comfortable beds. It looks like it was also recently renovated. The continental breakfast was more than adequate. For friends and family traveling in or through Quebec I will recommend this hotel.
