    Smithers is a beautiful town with lots of great shopping, restaurants, craft breweries, and an abundance of gorgeous mountain scenery. We had a very fun weekend stay and enjoyed all that Smithers has to offer. We liked the Farmer's Market, the shopping (including the thrift and consignment stores), the local craft breweries, the sushi at Blue Water Sushi, and a great day of hiking up to Crater Lake on Sunday. There was also a Main Street Market taking place on the Saturday which was like a street festival with vendors and other activities, music, etc. It was fun.

    Smithers, BC, exceeded my expectations with its charming atmosphere and excellent skiing options during my 3-day stay. The presence of a good brewery added to the experience, and the friendly locals further enhanced the city's appeal.

    smithers is a very clean town, a lot of friendly and informative people live and work there, lots of nice clean places to eat the food is great the scenery is second to none. they have all the amenities that you will need. very picturesque.

    Beautiful little city with wonderful views of the mountains...

    Beautiful little city with wonderful views of the mountains with their fresh snow. The Inn was very clean and comfortable. Staff were fantastic. Shopping in the village was great. Especially loved the Quilting shop.

    A bit outside of Smithers, this beautiful place is made for an extended stay to just come down and relax. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night on our travels but would have loved to stay longer. Very friendly and helpful host. Clean, comfy, and thoughtfully decorated rooms, beautiful and inviting common room with a huge balcony with amazing views of the mountains. Great breakfast.

    First it started with the booking.We booked the day we needed but the calendar changed it to a day ahead so we had to pay for 2 days and the the clerk wouldn't change it for us saying we had to contact bookings. com to get our refund. This isn't the case .The Sandman inn is a scam hotel is a scam and scuzzy to boot.Do not stay here!!!
