The August House has been beautifully renovated, with lots of lovely homely touches. Beds were comfortable and facilities were good - we particularly enjoyed using the firepit to toast the complimentary marshmallows! It's well located with easy access to main roads elsewhere in the region. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Loved everything about the stay!! Beds are amazing. Room is a great size and has amazing a/c for our scorching summer days. Also, do not have far of a walk to the indoor pool even if you have the farthest room. Hot tub hours are 24/7 and in a beautiful, secluded spot for privacy and can actually have fun and be loud. The pool hours are great! 10am to 9pm, as well as both the pool and hot tub are very clean! Never tried the sauna, but it looks like it would fit 2 people comfortably.

This home had a lot of character and was great for accomodating a family. John was very friendly and gave us great advice on where to go in the area. The surrounding grounds were tranquil and just a short drive by car to Wolfvile. Perfect accomodation.

The room at Stella Rose was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was awesome and I would recommend the Spanish omelette! ❤️ We loved our warm welcome and our chat about cricket over breakfast! The breakfast was excellent, except for the lack of milk to drink. I very much enjoy a cold glass of milk, especially when I take my meds. The staff , especially Taylor, was excellent. One moment she was a receptionist, the next she helping with the breakfast.

I loved the cabin, it was cozy and comfortable. I didn't read much about it, so I was pleasantly surprised to see there was so much thought out into the space. There were towels and a small kitchen kit with supplies to wash and clean up. The BBQ has all the tools you'd need to cook. There was even a coffee machine. I received an email saying the fire ban was lifted, I was excited but I hadn't packed anything to start a fire. I was so happy to see that they had gifted a whole fire bundle with EVERYTHING you would need to start a fire. It really made my night and was the cherry on top of my stay. I love this little gem and will be back again!
