Great hotel right in the middle of Brienz. Very clean, staff very friendly, very good breakfast, great restaurant for an evening meal. A hotel with character. I would highly recommend this hotel for location, service, food and cleanliness. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for us.

Absolutely I like everything about this the location the breakfast the matters, the balcony, It’s very nice countryside around there. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Lindenhof hotel in Brienz and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Brienz. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, and I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. My room was spacious and comfortable, with modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. I particularly enjoyed the private balcony which offered stunning views of the lake and mountains. The bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep peacefully throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of hot and cold dishes, as well as fresh fruit and bread. The staff was helpful and attentive, ensuring that everything was to my liking. The hotel's location is also excellent, with easy access to local attractions such as Lake Brienz, hiking trails and ski slopes. Parking is easy and convenient, which is a real plus in this area. Overall, I had a great stay at the Lindenhof hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and well-located accommodation in Brienz. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on my next trip to Brienz.

Excellent hotel, very comfortable and cozy, the staff was too attentive with us and attended to all our needs, the hotel is very clean and the room is comfortable and had heating since we went in the cold season, the breakfast is very good too, I would definitely return and I highly recommend staying here. By the way, the view of Lake Brienz is incredible

    Nothing wrong with Brienz - beautiful lake and beautiful scenery all around. The hotel was comfortable but not very well located to allow us to walk through the actual town. The hotel is located at the entrance of the town, close to the camping grounds. Quite remote

    We only stayed at Brienz for one night en route between...

    We only stayed at Brienz for one night en route between other places that we were visiting. The area has a lot of character with lovely old buildings and is on the shore of one of the many big lakes. It was very quiet during our brief stay, being in the period between the summer and winter seasons for tourists. We had just one evening meal which was a very tasty pizza.

    We didn’t spend any time there this time. The location is beautiful by the clear lakeside surrounded by mountains. Swiss railway transport is brilliantly efficient and comfortable. The train takes you all along the lake to Interlaken, a most picturesque journey.

    Most restraunts are closed or offer toned down menu in off season, so check before going. We went in last week of March and found it difficult to find places to eat in Brienz area. We had to go to Interlaken most of them time. The view is awsome.

    EASY TRAIN, BUS AND FERRY ACCESS. WE USED THE TRAIN FROM MILAN AND ALSO WENT TO LUCERN A COUPLE OF TIMES. THE FERRIES TO GO UP AND DOWN THE LAKES BUT BEWARE THE FERRY TIMES. THE VIEWS. EASY TO GET TO JUNGFRAUJOCH AND LAUTERBRUNEN. ROTHORN BAHN IN SUMMER MONTHS.

    It is a wonderful place, excellent for nice mountain walks or sit at the lake shore reading. The views are extraordinaire and all in all is a must if you want tranquility and clean air. This said, if you are looking for resorts, American-style places, or party Brienz is not for you. You will find very good Swiss food restaurants and some pizza places, or you can easily buy your meal at Coop or Migros if you're on a tight budget: in such a little place, everything is at a short walk. And is nice and quiet by night. :)

    We stayed for 4 nights and every morning the beautiful view with changing weather was the best part, dreamland!! We checked in late night in rain and seeing the hotel from train itself was comforting. Location is just perfect with access to Brienz train, bus, and great surroundings for strolling around.

    It was cosy and special- the food was delicious. They had cute little station for self service different teas and coffee… even soup you can make in a cup with hot water :) Location was good and close to Interlaken , we were by car but I also saw a buss passing by in front of the hotel.
